Section Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month except July and August, at 7:30 PM. Routine meetings are held at:

At every meeting, we have a short session devoted to Section business, conservation issues, trip reports, and news of upcoming trips, followed by a refreshment break and a program. Programs in the past have included slide shows on backpacking destinations near and far away, plus talks on related activities such as trekking in Nepal, orienteering, map-making, and nature photography. Non-members as well as members are invited to join us at the meetings to learn more about the Section, meet trip leaders, and find out about up-coming events.

A potluck picnic is held every summer at a local park or open space preserve.
