To preserve, protect, and restore the ecological integrity and native biodiversity of the forests of California, with efforts extending to include the forests of the United States and other regions of the world as appropriate, through education, advocacy, and political action.

Long-Term Goals:
1. Implement sustainable logging on private lands regulated by the state of California, without clearcutting or logging within 200 feet of a stream.

2. Restore our national forests and end commercial logging on national public lands.

3. Protect California’s additional wilderness areas and their surrounding watersheds

1. Attend chapter forest events

2. Sign up to receive forest alerts and news

3. Become Armchair Forest Activists – write one letter a month

4. Educate the public about the plight forests and gather signatures by tabling at farmer’s markets.

5. Become active with the Wild Heritage Campaign

6. Join the chapter Forest Protection Committee
