The South Bay Salt Ponds Restoration Project aims to return the San Francisco Bay to its historic health, provide wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities. Come learn about the largest wetlands restoration project in the Western United States that's right in our backyard. Melissa Hippard, Chapter Director, will present.

Learn about native and invasive plants, biocultural diversity, the history of habitat restoration and its present applications. Miriam Sachs Martin is Acterra's Chief Preserve Steward of the Pearson-Arastradero Preserve.

Light refreshments and food will be served at 6:30 p.m. Presentations will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
