Oct 13 - Pt. Reyes Alamere Falls and Mt. Wittenberg - Sat 5D
My last attempt at this hike turned into the Great Poison Oak Adventure; I'll try to get it right this
time. We'll hike out to Wildcat Camp, then along the bluffs to the top of Alamere Falls (high tide
will prevent approaching the falls along the beach). After lunch we'll head north along the
Coast Trail to Arch Rock and beyond, returning via the Sky Trail and Mt. Wittenberg. Suggested
carpool at Edgewood Road and Highway 280 Park & Ride at 8:00 am or at the parking lot across from
the visitor's center at Point Reyes National Seashore at 9:30 am.
