PCS Officer Duties Steering Committee Chair Vice Chair/Trips Treasurer/Members Mountaineering Committee Training Committee Publicity Committee Social Committee Webmaster/Email Broadcast Committee Scree Publication Committee Nominating Committee

The Social Committee is a standing committee which can consist of as many members as needed to carry on its mission. The Chair of the Committee shall be appointed by the PCS Chair. The other members shall be appointed by the Social Committee Chair with the approval of the PCS Chair. The committee shall:

1. Arrange slide show presentations for the monthly section meetings,
2. Be responsible for maintaining PCS equipment related to meetings, and arrange for the loan of equipment needed for presentations,
3. Arrange refreshments for the monthly section meetings,
4. Develop plans for the Summer Picnic and Christmas party,
5. Develop a plan for greeting new members at meetings and answering any questions that they may have about membership, etc.
