PCS Officer Duties Steering Committee Chair Vice Chair/Trips Treasurer/Members Mountaineering Committee Training Committee Publicity Committee Social Committee Webmaster/Email Broadcast Committee Scree Publication Committee Nominating Committee

The Steering Committee consists of the elected PCS officers and the Chair of each of the standing committees (or their representative), and exists for the purpose of developing overall policies for the PCS, as well as coordinating activities amongst the different committees in order to maximize the overall impact to the organization. Specifically, the members are:

1. Chair
2. Vice Chair
3. Treasurer
4. Mountaineering Committee Chair
5. Training Committee Chair
6. Publicity Committee Chair
7. Social Committee Chair
8. Webmaster or Broadcast Administrator
9. Scree Editor

It shall be the responsibility of all committee members to:

1. Solicit new members to the PCS and new leaders from within the membership,
2. Integrate new members at monthly PCS meetings,
3. Develop written procedures for their positions, to pass along to new officers,
4. Ensure an orderly transition to new officers.
