Organization The Chair of STS sets general direction of the Section, schedules meetings, and arranges programs. The Vice-Chair & Scheduler has primary responsibility for developing a calendar of trips. The Treasurer handles finances. The Editor is responsible for production of the newsletter, which typically is issued about a week before each monthly meeting. The STS Conservation Committee researches and acts on land use issues of importance to cross-country skiers. An Outings Committee advises on qualifications of potential outing leaders.
